As we all know, there is no one solution to stamping out hunger and poverty. Instead, there must be an ongoing effort across disciplines - individual and organized - that includes both money and action.
To everyone who participated in WHY’s 2009 Hungerthon campaign fundraising efforts, THANK YOU. Together, we raised nearly $550,000. You helped to make a difference in the lives of the 49 million Americans and the more than 1 billion people worldwide for whom hunger is an everyday reality.
